Its ingredients are just potatoes, eggs and onion. It might sound as the most basic food ever but its flavour will impress you. Spanish omelette is one of the classics of the country’s cuisine and you can find it in almost every bar or restaurant.
Jamón Iberico.
This type of cured ham it is made from black Iberian pigs that live in the central and western part of the Iberian Peninsula. You can eat it alone, on top of a slice of bread or even with melon.
Paella.
I am sure you have heard of it before. The most famous Spanish dish had its origins in Comunidad Valenciana but nowadays you will be able to find it everywhere. Even though Paella Valenciana is believed to be the original recipe, you will find many types of this rice dish, such as vegetarian paella (Paella de verduras), seafood paella (Paella de marisco) or mixed paella (Paella mixta).
Gazpacho.
This refreshing red “soup” is made with blended tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper, garlic, olive oil, wine vinegar and salt and there is no doubt that it is a really tempting offer after spending some time in the sunny and hot weather of Spain.
